This castle occupied by the Counts of Wilts has a square tower from the 13C which was remodelled in 1722. The main wing dates from 1631. It Is now an old people's home. At the foot of main stairway (added in 1727) there is an amphitheatre, built in 1954 and which is the setting for traditional festivals.
