  Pros

  A plush and warm experience with fawning attention from start to finish by a world class staff. Gorgeous presentation, especially of the starter and dessert. Food in general to a very high standard. The dessert degustation was the finest dessert I have ever experienced. It would have been at home in a 3-star establishment. This is a lovely place to spend an evening.

  Cons

  Avoid the sweetbreads main. Not bad, just underwhelming compared to the mastery of everything else.

  L'accueil, le cadre, l'espace entre les tables et les dimensions de celles-ci et, bien entendu, la cuisine..

  Pros

  A pleasant place with a local feel. Service very refined. The chef paying a visit after each course was a nice touch. The seasoning of the lobster in the lobster and smoked salmon starter was highly skilled, adding character to a boilerplate dish. Delicious cote de veau, and a first rate cheese cart with a wide selection.

  Cons

  Dover sole was underwhelming. Not bad, just not quite to the expected standard. Not much wrong at this restaurant, however.
