The Centro Cultural Dragão do Mar is a 30 000m² cultural complex, which was inaugurated in 1999 and encompasses an auditorium, theatre, cinema, planetarium and two museums. The Memorial da Cultura Cearense presents theme-based exhibitions on regional culture. The Museu de Arte Contemporânea holds temporary exhibitions of works by Ceará's main contemporary artists, including Raimundo Cela, Antônio Bandeira and Leonilson.
