Over the course of a dozen rooms, the Museu do Ceará recounts the history of the state of Ceará, in particular the abolitionist struggles that shook the region in the 1880s, and the growth of its capital, Fortaleza, at the turn of the 19C. You can also see a few of the personal effects of the venerated Padre Cícero.
