Lagoinha : Michelin's recommendations

Lagoinha is one of Ceará's most picture-perfect destinations, barely 106km from the capital. The waves unfurl here on a perfect, half-moon-shaped beach that backs onto red dunes and is surrounded by vegetation. At low tide, buggy excursions go as far as the mouth of Rio Mundaú via Fleixeiras, renowned for its dunes and limpid lagoons. From Lagoinha, you can also venture out on a jangada (a traditional wooden boat). There are a few restaurants on the beach.
