Lençóis : Michelin's recommendations

Lençóis is a pretty little colonial town to which diamond hunters flocked in the 19C. It has retained its attractive, colourful houses along steep cobbled streets. Nestled at the edge of the Sierra do Sincóra, it is the ideal base from which to set out to explore the Chapada Diamantina National Park: its many waterfalls – great spots for bathing – and lush greenery are a fitting warm-up. There are plenty of lively bars and restaurants where you can unwind with a drink on summer evenings!
