The town of Angra–populated since the early 1500s–offers numerous historic buildings for exploration, many dating to when it was a great port and agricultural center.
Head to the dock for a cruise among the many islands in a saveiro schooner. There's time for a swim in the turquoise waters before a lunch of hot and cold buffet items.
