The Corvocado, a 710m-high granite peak situated in the Parque Nacional da Tijuca, is a site not to be missed. To get there it's best to take the rack railway (departing from Rua Cosme Velha), which passes through the largest urban forest in the world. You can also get there by car or taxi. At the top you can admire the Cristo Redentor as well as the incredible view.
