The 17C Kostancaliev House is one of the fortress-style residential buildings of Arbanasi village, on Unesco's World Heritage list. The stone-built ground floor was intended for servants, animals and crops. The wooden upper floor was the living quarters of the owners, who were wealthy local merchants.
