This vast park, laid out as a botanical garden, rises in terraces up the lower slopes of the Pirin, at the very end of town. It offers pleasant walks along its alleyways shaded by ancient, mostly Mediterranean trees. Mineral water springs, sometimes very hot (up to 80°C!) draw crowds of people on a cure.
