Built in 1861, the Banker's House shows the ability of builders to adapt to the irregularity of the land. There is only one storey on the street side, yet there are four on the river side. The ground floor, consisting of a large drawing room surrounded by a mezzanine, houses an ethnographic exhibition devoted to popular art in the Veliko Turnovo region: wood-carving, pottery, furniture, jewellery (silver buckles), costumes, fabrics and embroidery. The upper floor is devoted to the early days of photography in Turnovo.
