Wat Nokor is one of the shrines around Kompong Cham definitely worth visiting. Built in the 11C under Jayavarman VII, nowadays original elements of Buddhist temple, such as sandstone and laterite, are mixed with more recent structures. Of particular interest: the ancient Buddhist decors.
