Angkor Borei reveals very little of the brilliant past of Vyadhapura, former capital of the kingdom of Funan and one of the cradles of Khmer civilisation. The museum, on the other hand, contains rare pieces. The nearby sacred hill, Phnom Da, is worth visiting by boat.
