This park re-creates prairie life of a bygone era with a pioneer community and a reconstructed Hudson's Bay Company post. The turn-of-the-century town features a church, drugstore, bakery, general store, post office, newspaper office, pool hall, police post, houses and a station for a functioning steam train that gives tours of the site. Beside the tracks stands a working grain elevator, and on the outskirts of the town are farm buildings and a windmill. A replica of the SS Moyie, a paddlewheeler once used on Kootenay Lake, offers boat trips on the reservoir (every 35min) and memorable rides can be taken on the antique midway.
