This collection of wooden buildings includes Henson's house (Uncle Tom's Cabin), a simple church of the same era as the one in which he preached and a fugitive slave's house. In the museum there are such items as posters advertising slave sales, a ball and chain similar to those slaves were forced to wear to prevent their escape, slave whips, handcuffs and clubs. A recorded commentary explains the exhibits and tells Henson's story. His grave is outside.
