Edmonton Recommended Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum

The capital of Alberta is North America’s northernmost metropolis, although it is not, by world standards, particularly Nordic, being at about the latitude of Dublin or Liverpool. But the city undeniably lies well north of the great commercial and industrial centres of Canada and the US. The North Saskatchewan River snakes through the centre of the city. Edmonton’s site, along the steep banks of the river, is strikingly beautiful, and intelligent urban planning has made the city a pleasant, livable place.
