Forillon National Park
Forillon National Park
: Michelin's recommendations
Located on the eastern tip of the peninsula, this 245sq km/95sq mi park includes limestone cliffs towering over the sea; mountains of spruce, fir, poplar and cedar; wildflower meadows; and sandy beaches tucked away in hidden coves. The visitor centre features displays and films on the park, as well as saltwater aquariums. A road leads to Cape Bon Ami, providing magnificent views of the sea and the limestone cliffs. At Cape Gaspé, a pleasant walk affords views of the Bay of Gaspé and Île Bonaventure. Nearby in the former fishing village of Grande-Grave, several historic buildings have been restored.
