These 2,470m/8,102ft peaks named for the sound made by resident marmots. The panorama from this elevation includes the townsite, the lake-dotted Athabasca Valley and the Colin Range to the northeast, and Mt. Yellowhead and the Victoria Cross Ranges to the northwest. If visibility permits, the great white pyramid of Mt. Robson can be spotted beyond them.
