The visitor centre's orientation video (8min) incorporates vintage photographs from Doon Heritage Crossroads' archival collection. Throughout the village costumed interpreters demonstrate daily activities typical of rural life. The two-storey frame house at the Peter Martin Farm, originally constructed c.1820, has been restored to its 1914 appearance and permits an overview of Mennonite family life.
