Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine : Michelin's recommendations

This isolated and windswept outpost of Quebec lies in the middle of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Of the eight islands and numerous islets that make up the archipelago, six are linked by a series of sandy isthmuses, forming a hook-shaped mass stretching southwest to northeast. The islands offer a wealth of outdoor activities to the visitor, ranging from sightseeing to swimming to hiking.
