Lethbridge Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Located 216km/134mi southeast of Calgary, Alberta’s fourth largest city overlooks a wide riverbed cut by the Oldman River. Constructed into the side of this riverbed are the striking buildings of the University of Lethbridge, and crossing over it is the dramatic High Level Railway Bridge, 1.5km/1mi long and 96m/314ft high, constructed by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1909. The city is the centre of a productive agricultural region. Wind, sunshine and cultivation of biofuels today mean energy, and Lethbridge is working with other Southern Alberta cities to develop an alternative energy industry.
