Alphonse-Desjardins House Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Built between 1882 and 1884 in the Gothic Revival style, this small, white clap-board house was the home of Alphonse and Dorimène Desjardins for more than 40 years. The house was restored in 1982 by the Mouvement Desjardins as a tribute to its founder. Displays of artifacts describe Desjardins' life and the beginning of the cooperative movement. Desjardins' office and other rooms have been refurbished to reflect the period (1906) when the Caisse Populaire de Lévis had its head office in the house.
