Visitors pass through the wooden palisade to examine examples of the long, rectangular, bark-covered frame houses in which the Huron lived communally. Animal skins, plants and herbs are hanging to dry. The medicine man's house, a sweat bath, storage pits and a canoe-making site can also be seen.
