Complexe Guy-Favreau : Michelin's recommendations

Completed in 1984, this complex was named for Guy Favreau (1917-67), a lawyer, politician, public prosecutor and minister of justice in John Diefenbaker's administration (1957-63). Consisting of six interconnected structures, it contains Montreal's federal administration offices and numerous apartments, as well as a mall. The redbrick exterior complements the handsome stainless steel and brick interior atrium. Exhibits are regularly organised in the main hall and in the mall. Offering a respite from the downtown bustle, the tranquil exterior garden is dotted with fountains and sculptures.
