Nicolet : Michelin's recommendations

Set on the banks of the Nicolet River near its junction with the St. Lawrence, this community was settled in the mid-18C by Acadian refugees who established their farms here, transforming Nicolet into an agricultural center. The city is home to several religious orders and the Quebec Police Academy.
