MacKenzie Art Gallery Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Occupying the western end of the T.C. Douglas Building in Wascana Centre, this gallery is devoted largely to the display of temporary and travelling exhibits. Consisting of more than 3,000 works, the permanent collection is showcased on a rotating basis with emphasis on Canadian historical and contemporary art, including Inuit prints and sculptures, First Nations pieces and Saskatchewan folk art. The collection has grown from an original bequest in 1936 of 374 works by influential Regina lawyer Norman MacKenzie.
