Revelstoke : Michelin's recommendations

Set on the east bank of the Columbia River at its junction with the Illecillewaet, this small community has a picturesque site surrounded by the Selkirks to the east and Monashees to the west. Named for Lord Revelstoke, head of the London banking firm Barings, which financed completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885.
