Erected in 1927, this unusual brick gate with its two towers commemorates the first 11 mayors of Saint-Hyacinthe. It was inaugurated to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Honourable Georges-Casimir Dessaulles, who held the office of mayor from 1868 to 1879 and 1886 to 1897.
