Ermatinger/Clergue National Heritage Site Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
This attractive Georgian stone house was built by Charles Oakes Ermatinger, a partner in the North West Company, and his Ojibway wife, Charlotte. The Ermatinger/Clergue property, restored in keeping with the period, welcomed many famous guests, among whom artist Paul Kane. Upstairs, an interesting museum tells the story of the Ermatinger family and the town of Sault Ste Marie.
