Yaletown Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Long before it was a warehouse district, Yaletown was the edge of a tidal flatland. The curving brick wall in the tiny park at Mainland and Davie streets marks the shoreline of two centuries ago, before dredging and filling converted much of False Creek to dry land. That area was also the site of the Expo '86 fairgrounds, which have recently been converted into a massive housing complex called Concord Pacific Place.
