From April to October, the waters around Victoria are home to three known pods of killer whales. Explore the local waters via an open Zodiac vessel or a 46-foot covered motor yacht in search of whales, porpoises, sea lions, and other marine animals while a knowledgeable expert provides educational narrative.
During peak whale-watching season, your chances of spotting a killer whale, also called orcas, often exceeds 95%. Take to the water in search of whales in a high-speed, open-air Zodiac -not for the faint of heart-helmed by certified naturalists. For a more sedate ride, the 46-foot luxury motor yacht offers enclosed cabins, outside decks, a restroom, hot beverages, and snacks, as well as a marine biologist providing educational narrative.

Reservations are required. You will not be guaranteed a place on either the Zodiac or the motor yacht without contacting Springtide Charters in advance. Children under 5 years are not permitted on the Zodiac; children under 2 may ride for free on the motor yacht. Persons with back problems and pregnant women should not ride on the Zodiac.
