Craigflower Farmhouse : Michelin's recommendations

This Georgian clapboard house (1856) was constructed by Kenneth McKenzie, bailiff for Puget Sound Agricultural Co., the first organization to develop the island for farming. One of the earliest buildings in Victoria, the house boasts a handsome studded-oak front door. Most of the manor is original and contains period furnishings. Visitors may play the piano in the parlor and don attire of the period. The kitchen pantry is often stocked with the harvest from two vegetable gardens maintained on the premises.
