This popular resort on Nottawasaga Bay rejoices in a 14km/9mi stretch of white sand, the longest freshwater beach in the world. The central town beach, called Beach Area One, is the liveliest, with attractions as well as restaurants and shops. Beach Areas One through Six, stretching toward the southwest, can be reached off Mosely Street the town’s thoroughfare, while Allenwood and New Wasaga beaches are located north of the Nottawasaga River mouth, off River Road East.
