This museum re-creates life in and around police posts during the early settlement of Alberta. Inside the wooden, palisaded walls stand a number of log structures. The Kanouse House with its sod roof is devoted to the early settlers of the region. The Mounted Police Building houses a model of the original fort and exhibits on the police. The Indian Artifacts Building contains a sizable collection of native arts and crafts.
