Located in the heart of salmon-fishing country in a tiny rural community, this pleasant little museum features a large collection of colourful fishing flies and rods-one actually 5.5m/18ft long, made in Scotland in 1880. Fishing tackle on display includes a sampling of illegal spears used by poachers. The life cycle of the Atlantic salmon is illustrated from birth to return trip upriver to reproduce. Unlike its Pacific cousin, the Atlantic salmon can make several such trips.
