"Hosteria de la Colina is located in the Lakes District of Chile, 500 miles south of Santiago. On a hill (colina) above the town of Villarrica, it has a country feeling with a panoramic view of Lake Villarrica and two smoking volcanos. A restored old German home, the hostería is cozy and welcoming. A terrace offers the chance to relax and view the lovely gardens.Our restaurant is often claimed to be the best our guests have frequented in Chile. Our menu has a selection of fish, chicken, vegetarian, pasta and meat dishes. Homemade ice cream, cakes and pies. We serve breakfast (included in the room), lunch and dinner. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Two separate cottages offer more privacy. Garden hot tub is an added attraction as is bar and game room."
