Time difference
There is a 5-hour time difference between Chile and the UK and Ireland in summer and a 3-hour time difference in winter, with two short periods in the autumn and spring when the time difference is 4 hours. When it is 12 noon in Santiago, it is 5pm in London and Dublin in summer and 3pm in winter.

A valid passport is required for stays of less than three months. For longer stays, a visa is required.
