On the outskirts of Cahuita, a small Caribbean city that pulsates to the sound of reggae music, the Parque Nacional de Cahuita (10km²) comprises mangrove swamps, marshes, tropical rainforest, heavenly beaches scattered with coconut palms, and coral reefs that are home to a range of wildlife (beware of the caimans).
