Built in 1715, this Baroque church, devoted to the town's patron saint and protector, is in striking contrast with the sobriety of Placa. Its impressive steps, ornate façade and dome hide a compact (short nave) but warm interior: the altar is a riot of carvings around the Gothic statue of St Blaise in gilded silver (15C). The profusion of ribbons, festoons and bright-red embroidered altar linen cannot be missed.
