The fortified village of Groznjan has a charming architectural unity and serenity. An esplanade, shaded by chestnut trees built above the plain, leads to a door built into the ramparts, a good part of which still exists today. The coast, dotted with a number of resorts, and the sea provide the backdrop. The view is impressive, all the more so given the striking contrast between the peace and quiet of this village and the hustle and bustle of the coast.
