Island of Hvar : Michelin's recommendations
The island of Hvar stretches out for 68km from east to west. Its thick gorse, highly indented coastline, good quality stone and rich soil (wine, honey and lavender) make it one of the most popular islands in Dalmatia, despite its lack of beaches. Make sure you visit Hvar, an irresistible town whose bars and restaurants are greatly appreciated by celebrities. The ports of Stari Grad and Vrboska are also more than worth a trip to enjoy their unique atmosphere, as are the vineyards and the beach of Dubovica.
