Installed in the former Bishops' Palace, this treasury contains rare works of art: religious paintings by Blaz Jurjev (15C), Italian drawings (da Vinci, Raphael, Tiepolo etc), old manuscripts such as the wonderful 12C illuminated codex, 15C alabasters and the delightful opening statue of Mary Stewart (1600). The unusual miscellany of exhibits in the private collections of miniature relics, amassed by their wealthy former owner at immense cost, is also worthy of interest.
