The museum exhibits the work of artists who were either born in or lived in the region, such as the painter and calligrapher Mate Benkovic (1914-1981), the ceramic artist Hinko Juhn (1891-1940) and the painter Izidor Krsnjavi (1845-1927). A room is devoted to Countess Dora (1885-1923), the first female Croatian composer. Other sections are given over to local history, a fine ethnographical collection and the pottery produced at Fericanci, a neighbouring village where it is the local speciality.
