Rijeka : Michelin's recommendations

Rijeka, or Fiume if one remembers its Italian heritage (1919-43), was formerly the most important town of Croatia. Today it is still the country's largest port and a hub of tourism in the Adriatic. While it may seem somewhat unappealing at first glance, a closer look will reveal some fine examples of Austro-Hungarian architecture.
