This walk towards the tip of the peninsula overlooks the sea through cypress, pine, oleander and broom. Below is the incessant coming and going of the ferries to the islands and the coastal road where the museums are located. The path itself is dotted with small chapels: St Nicholas (13C) recognisable by its small side steeple, the chapel of Bethlehem (14C) and the chapel of St Jerome (15C-16C). They were built by hermits who came here to meditate and pray.
