This museum, located in the Madonna battery built by the Austrians in 1830, relates the life of the island and the resistance periods of Tito. Above all, it houses the results of local excavations and illustrates the island's rich Greek and Roman past. The highlight of the visit is the famous head of Artemis, a Greek bronze sculpture (4C BC).
