The wealth of this museum's collections makes it definitely worth a visit. It covers the various regions of Croatia: Pannonia (inland regions), the Adriatic (Istria, Kvarner, Dalmatia) and the mountains (Lika, Dalmatian hinterland). It possesses an outstanding collection of traditional costumes which are representative of Croatia's three ethnographic areas. On the groundfloor are Asian collections amassed by the well-travelled Milko brothers and Braca Seljan and Dragutin Lerman.
