The park around the summer residence of a nobleman from Dubrovnik was designed in the 16C and is a splendid example of Renaissance garden landscaping and gracious living. Ending in a terrace overlooking the sea, it combines a succession of paths lined with all sorts of rare and exotic plants, leading to little havens on a variety of themes, such as the fountain of Neptune, with a grotto, statues and running water and the aqueduct in tribute to the Romans.
