This magnificent national park occupies the western third of the island. It encompasses several villages, including Polace, Okuklje and Saplunara, all of which are worthy of mention. The saltwater lakes, Malo jezero and Veliko jezero, are also high on the list of the park's attractions, as is the Romanesque Benedictine monastery on an isolated islet. The top of Montokuc (253m) commands a fine view. If the visit to all these sites has left you short of breath, take refuge on the sandy beach of Blace: heaven on earth!
