Built in 1764, this is probably the finest Baroque palace in Zagreb, with its wrought-iron window and balcony railings and attractive carriage entrance. Today it houses the Museum of Croatian History, which hosts temporary exhibitions on a variety of historical themes. The palace’s interior, with its fine staircase and rooms furnished with superb ceramic stoves, is worth a visit in its own right.
